We are pleased to welcome Jeffrey Penn as the newest attorney to join Boutwell Fay LLP!

Jeff is an executive compensation and employee benefits attorney who is enthusiastic about helping employers navigate complex tax and regulatory environments. He brings more than a decade of legal experience to our team and will be a valuable addition to the firm.
He has advised public and private companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and partnerships on a wide range of issues. His expertise includes structuring and negotiating cash and equity compensation programs, separation and retention arrangements, profit-sharing, and welfare benefit plans. Jeff frequently navigates these complex compliance matters within transactional contexts, including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and spin-offs.
Prior to joining Boutwell Fay, Jeff served as an associate in the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits practice groups of two international New York-based corporate law firms. Over the course of his career, he has developed a reputation for his even temperament and cool-headedness in negotiations, consistently preserving goodwill and collaboration among parties while providing attentive counsel.
Jeff also brings a strong commitment to community service. He is proud to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees of Friends Seminary, a K-12 independent school in New York City.
We are thrilled to have Jeff join us and look forward to the contributions he will make to our clients and our team. Welcome, Jeff!
