On July 12, 2021, Ruel Pile from the Firm joined our longtime friends and colleagues at Lance, Soll & Lunghard, LLP for their LSL Driving Relationships Summer 2021 golf tournament at Strawberry Farms. In case you haven’t played golf with a bunch of dedicated accountants before, rest assured they count every stroke and at the end of the day, they issue their opinion, but they never judge you for it. The highlight of the day came when Ruel’s team of four golfers, including Luis Bernal (financial adviser at Merrill Lynch), Jason Roberts (outsourced IT at Forum Info-Tech), and Jessica Vasquez (audit & assurance supervisor at LSL), won the tournament’s only prize for the Most Honest Team (i.e., highest scoring team).
