Candace Finn is an employee benefits and ERISA attorney whose practice focuses on helping employers and fiduciaries navigate the complex legal and regulatory landscape governing employee benefit plans. Drawing on nearly a decade of retirement plan consulting experience, Candace provides practical, business-focused guidance on employee benefits matters and enjoys helping clients find thoughtful, effective solutions to complex challenges.

Prior to joining Boutwell Fay LLP as an attorney, Candace served as a Law Clerk with the firm following an externship during her final semester at Lewis & Clark Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctor, along with a Certificate in Federal Tax Law, and concentrated her studies on employee benefits and tax law. During law school, Candace served as a Tax Law Research Assistant, competed in the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel (ACEBC) Employee Benefits Moot Court Competition, and worked in the Lewis & Clark Low-Income Tax Clinic, assisting clients with federal and Oregon tax controversy matters.

Before entering private practice, Candace spent nearly nine years with Multnomah Group, Inc., where she worked with retirement plan clients on fiduciary governance, investment oversight, retirement plan administration, and regulatory compliance. She trained investment analysts, authored regulatory updates on developments affecting retirement plans, and worked closely with plan sponsors to address the operational and fiduciary issues with administering a retirement plan. This experience gives her a unique perspective on the legal and practical considerations clients face every day.
Candace is passionate about making employee benefits law approachable and understandable for clients. She values building lasting relationships and providing practical advice that helps employers and fiduciaries confidently navigate an evolving regulatory environment.

Outside of her legal practice, Candace remains actively involved in the employee benefits community.
