Alison Fay will be participating in this presentation to the Orange County Chapter of the Western Pension & Benefits Council on November 15. This presentation will discuss how to effectively communicate with employees regarding their retirement and health and welfare benefits, including the use of various electronic (e.g., e-mail) and web-based delivery means to drive important participant behaviors. This session will also summarize year-end compliance deadlines for various required communications (e.g., ADP/ACP safe harbor notification) and IRS and DOL rules regarding electronic disclosure for purposes of satisfying the plan sponsor’s ERISA, Title I disclosure obligations.
